Beşiktaş savunma hattına ilk transferini yaptı. Siyah beyazlılar Leicester City’den ayrılan Daniel Amartey ile anlaşmaya vardı. Serbest durumdaki 28 yaşındaki stoper için bonservis bedeli ödenmeyecek.

İstanbul’da sağlık kontrollerinden geçecek olan Amartey, Beşiktaş ile 3 yıllık sözleşme imzalayacak.

8 sezondur Leicester City forması giyen Ganalı oyuncu, geride kalan sezon İngiliz ekibi ile 24 maça çıktı.

Amartey, 45 kez de Gana milli takım forması giydi.
