Çanakkale’nin Gökçeada ilçesinde, Hristiyanlar için kutsal sayılan "Meryem Ana’nın göğe yükseliş günü" nedeniyle bir araya gelen Rum vatandaşlar ayin yaptı.

Gökçeada ilçesine bağlı Tepeköy’deki Agridia Kilisesi’nde ‘Meryem Ana’nın göğe yükseliş günü’ dolayısıyla ayin yapıldı. Ayine, bazı ülkelerden gelen despot papazlar ile Gökçeada’da yaşayan Rum vatandaşlar katıldı. Ayine gelenler, kilise girişinde mum yakarak, dua etti.

Agridia Kilisesi’ndeki ayini, Gökçeada ve Bozcaada Metropoliti Kyrillos Sykis yönetti.
