Türkiye’nin yıllık 300 bin tonla önemli miktarda karpuz üretimi yapılan Bilecik’te halk, yerli ürünün çıkmasını bekliyor.

Satıcı Mustafa Yıldız, şuan tezgâhları İran karpuzun tezgâhları süslediği belirterek, "İran karpuzlarımız biraz şu an pahalı. Tezgâhlarda şu an daha dilim olarak satılıyor. Ama Osmaneli karpuzu çıktığı zaman bu fiyatlarımız ucuzlayacak. Bilecik’in Osmaneli ilçesi ağırlıklı olmak üzere il genelinde her yıl yaklaşık 300 bin ton karpuz üretiliyor. Yerli karpuzumuzun 2, 2 buçuk ay sonra tezgâhlardaki yerini alacak" dedi.
