Trump'ın New York'taki ceza davasına bakan Yargıç Juan M.

Merchan, eski Başkan'ın cezai kovuşturmaya karşı dokunulmaz olduğu yönündeki erteleme talebini reddederek, 15 Nisan'da Manhattan'da başlaması planlanan duruşmaların ertelenmeyeceğini belirtti. Merchan'ın bu kararı, ABD Yüksek Mahkemesinin henüz karar vermediği dokunulmazlık talebi hakkında Trump'ın jüri huzuruna çıkmasının önünü açtı.
