Muğla’nın Yatağan ilçesine bağlı Turgut Mahallesi’nde orman yangını çıktı. Sarp kayalıklarla kaplı alanda başlayan yangına, Muğla Orman Bölge Müdürlüğü’ne bağlı ekipler havadan ve karadan müdahale ediyor.

Yangın ihbarının ardından bölgeye çok sayıda ekip sevk edilirken, rüzgarın etkisiyle alevlerin hızla yayıldığı bildirildi. Orman yangınına karşı mücadele, helikopter ve uçaklarla havadan, arazözler ve itfaiye ekipleriyle karadan sürdürülüyor.

Ekiplerin yoğun çabasıyla yangının kontrol altına alınması hedeflenirken, yerleşim yerlerine herhangi bir tehdit oluşturmadığı öğrenildi. Yangının çıkış nedeni ise henüz belirlenemedi.
