La Liga ekiplerinden Barcelona, Samuel Umtiti'nin sözleşmesini feshetti.

Katalan ekibinden yapılan açıklamada, "2025/26 sezonuna kadar sözleşmesi bulunan Samuel Umtiti ile karşılıklı anlaşarak sözleşmesi feshedildi. Umtiti'ye teşekkür ediyor ve gelecek için boş şans diliyoruz." ifadeleri yer aldı.

Futbol kariyerine Lyon'un altyapısında başlayan Samuel Umtiti, 2011/12 sezonunda A takıma yükseldi.

Lyon'da A takımda geçirdiği 5 yılın ardından 2016/17 sezonunda Barcelona'ya transfer olan Umtuti, geride kalan sezonu İtalyan ekibi Lecce'de kiralık olarak geçirdi.
